I played around with this photo a bit.  I figured I might want to have something a bit ‘wild’ and yet real for the number 13.  These flowers were found near my flat.  It was a grey day but the brightness popped out – I took that idea and pushed it even further.

A sight you don’t expect to see in an urban high school campus.  But there they were this morning as I was walking toward the entrance.  “Quack” was the sound and then a scurry behind bushes.  I knew it would get even more difficult to take a pic of them once the buses pulled up…so I got as clear a shot as possible.  Hmmm…ducks in London.

It’s been raining a lot.  And this umbrella was such a vibrant contrast.  I loved the swirl as it twirled around.  The picture itself almost makes me dizzy – and I like it in that little kid way where you loved to go on carnival rides cause they made you feel so odd.

As you can see, I’m quite the nature nut…which is interesting as I’m also a city girl.  So I live in the city and try to find the nature all around me.

When I decide to walk a bit, this is the view that I get on the way home from work.  I’ve cropped the pic a bit, so it’s all a touch out of focus…which is what I tend to feel at the end of the day.

I’m trying to be healthy so I’ve purchased a bunch of fruit to have at work.  I just love how the colour just look so right together with the various textures.
